SRV Tone with a Mesa Boogie Fillmore 50 Combo!

I bought the Mesa Boogie Fillmore 50 combo amp for the Fender-like “glassy tube tone” and it delivers in spades. As a bonus, it has two other voices that come close to a JTM 45 and a JCM800. Better yet, you get two foot switchable channels that each contain all three voices. I tried to get the settings as close as I could to that magical SRV tone. No overdrive or boost pedals, no reverb or chorus pedals...Just a great 1991 Fender USA Stratocaster plugged into a cranked up Mesa Boogie Fillmore 50 Combo. TONE!
