I recorded the sounds of the water at the headwaters of the Taio River. The bedrock has been sculpted into beautiful shapes by the long-term flow of the water. The sound of the water cascading over the stones is exceptionally smooth and soothing. The filming location is near the border between Kumamoto and Oita prefectures. Being in the upper reaches, the area experiences unique sunrise and sunset lighting, and the crystal-clear water takes on different shades of beauty depending on the time of day.
