Bushfire Summer - ABC Australia 2007 | Full Documentary

South-eastern Australia has the unenviable reputation as the most fire prone place in the world. All it takes is a few hot, dry days, and a strong northerly wind - and there's the possibility of a 'bad' Bushfire Summer. This is the story of one bushfire season; a story of those who are affected by fire, of those who fight fires, and those who study fires and their prevention, as we head towards a future in which things can only get worse, as our climate continues to heat up. Bushfire Summer is a joint venture between the ABC Natural History Unit, the Country Fire Authority, Department of Sustainability and Environment, the Bushfire CC, ABC News, ABC Local Radio, ABC Emergency Services and ABC Online. © 2007 Australian Broadcasting Corporation Timestamps: 00:00 - Heat Wave 26:42 - All Hell Breaks Loose 52:52 - State on Fire 1:19:10 - Future on Fire
