Episode 19 of From the Weeds to Checkers took a little bit of a turn when Abbie showed up and decided it was finally time to get the seat installed in the Factory Stock! 😂 She came ready to work... well, sort of. Abbie couldn’t stay off the phone long enough to get too much accomplished, but we still made some progress getting the seat installation figured out and moving another step closer to having this car ready for the track. We also got back into the sheet metal work, and somewhere along the way things didn’t exactly come out like they were supposed to. I’m still not sure whose fault it is that the sheet metal isn’t right. Mine? Abbie’s? I guess y’all can be the judge of that one! 😂 Either way, progress is progress. The Factory Stock build keeps moving forward, one seat mount, piece of sheet metal, and questionable measurement at a time.
