I recommend thinner crochet cotton or embroidery floss (3 of the 6 strands) for beginners. 😄 As you continue creating lace and trying new patterns and techniques, different patterns will call for different sizes of threads. I usually don't recommend specific sizes of threads for my patterns because I want people to experiment and have fun!
