Chinook, Big Ling's, and MONSTER halibut! Ucluelet, BC

On this year's island adventure, we spent our last week of May fishing out of Ucluelet. We caught a huge variety of fish, all the way from tiny rock-fish to massive halibut! While we mostly fished from our little boat, we were fortunate enough to be taken out on the water with Brandon from Minnesota Charters. He's a really awesome guy that's also incredible at fishing. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have had the success we had. Other than the fishing, we spent some time around the town checking out local restaurants, coffee shops, forests, and exploring the ocean from shore on some of the more windy days. All in all, it was an unforgettable trip, and we're already looking forward to the next one!
