Exploring Ledges State Park | Boone County, Iowa

I love doing solo hikes and exploring new trails and terrains. Before my flight back to Michigan, I had a few hours to kill, so I decided to drive to Madrid, Iowa which is about 40mins from the Des Moines airport. The Ledges State Park is quite a gem in the middle of nowhere Iowa. It has creeks, rivers, tiny waterfalls, swamps, few hundred feet of elevation and lots and lots of bugs LOL.
