Police officer Mohammed Kirumira threatens to sue former Flying Squad operatives

Former Buyende DPC Muhammed Kirumira has threatened to form an association of alleged victims and sue Herbert Muhangi the former commander of the now defunct Flying Squad Unit of Police. The disbandment of police’s Flying Squad Unit this week came after mounting allegations of gross misconduct and torture of suspects by its agents. One victim who says he was arrested on false accusations. But security expert Fred Egesa thinks that the decision was rushed.
