Night Wingsuit Jump 07 Oct 2023

I did a night wingsuit jump on 07 Oct 2023 at Skydive Zweibrücken. We exited at just over 20,000 feet from a Skyvan. We had oxygen from approximately 8,000 feet. We inserted battery-powered ribbon LED lights inside the arm and leg wing chambers. We had illuminated altimeters. We practiced earlier in the day and had many safety briefings and reviews of our plan over the last months. My goal was to have a clean exit and flight with steady navigation adjusted for the altitude and winds. We both landed in. I sped up the first and second halves of the jump and canopy ride as it’s mostly black screen. I overexposed the footage so it is a little easier to see what it looked like that night to the eye. I overlayed the GPS track over terrain, speed, compass, and elevation stickers from GoPro so you can follow along.
