Media Mondays — Episode 12

📲 On this #MediaMondays episode, the Detroit Police Media Relations Team is talking with Captain Stewart of Organized Crime, about a major narcotics seizure that took place in a senior-living facility on the city’s east side—urging people to report suspicious activity to 313-224-DOPE. The team also discussed an alleged robbery that occurred on Valentine’s Day—also on the city’s east side—and went viral on social media. That investigation is active and ongoing and no conclusions can be drawn at this point. Additionally, Captain Stewart  discussed the consequences that come along with school threats, warning Detroit students not to make false threats in hopes of cancelling school. The team wrapped up by sharing an exciting update — another Detroit Police graduation is coming, meaning more officers will be patrolling in our neighborhoods!
