Apologize for the short video as I went up with my colleagues and this elevator was used a lot by other people so it was difficult to get a longer video. Also since I went home with a group of other people I didn't have time to film the other elevators within the airport as I had to stick with them all the time, so this was the only elevator I've managed to film at HAM Airport. To see how the other elevators in Terminal 1 look like in more details, check out PostTower's lift tour videos here:

This lone elevator is tucked away in a hidden corridor somewhere near the arrival plaza in office wing B, but it is easier to be found if you're in the departures area near the security checkpoint. It goes between the arrival and departure level, but it also goes up further to level 4 which are office floors. All the elevators in Hamburg Airport Terminal 1 are KONE from the early 2000s which are branded as "KOCH" for some reason; KOCH was an elevator company that had been acquired by KONE and the name was continued to be used by KONE for a short time. You can tell by the looks of it that this elevator is from the "Delta fixtures" era but it uses Schaefer buttons instead. The floor indicators and the chimes, however, are still Delta. The same goes for the other elevators within the new terminal. Also notice the extra button panel which is so low that it went below the handrail; it is for wheelchair btw.
Terminal 2, which is the older terminal from 1992, has a number of older Schindler elevators as well as Thyssen escalators. Again, I didn't film any of them unfortunately as we had to catch our flight home, but you can check out PostTower's lift tour here to see how they look like: • Uplifting tour at Hamburg Airport (HAM) Te...
