How Do You Get Internet in the Middle of the Ocean? 🌊📡

Ever wondered how seafarers stay connected to the internet when the ship is hundreds or even thousands of kilometres away from land? 🌊🚢 There’s no Jio, Airtel or normal mobile network in the middle of the ocean… so how are we using WhatsApp, Instagram, video calls and the internet? 🤔 In this video, I’m sharing my real experience using internet on two different ships and explaining everything you need to know about internet at sea. I’ve also recently signed off from my second ship, and now I’m back home. 🇮🇳 I’ll be bringing you more videos about Merchant Navy preparation, joining process, sponsorship, life at sea, my life at home and my personal experiences as a deck cadet.
