Talking to Cy Turner from Cotic about his new retro radical E-bike design

Cy Turner from Cotic has never been afraid of stirring up the mountain bike status quo. His original Soul hardtail relaunched steel as a viable material for trail hardtails. The Rocket did the same for steel in the enduro scene. After several years of trying all sorts of different options he's now launched a retro looking external battery E-bike. I talked to Cy on the trail about the reasoning behind the look, geometry, kinematics and construction details of the new Rocket and as usual we went super geeky deep on the details.
