Aston-by-Stone Level Crossing, Staffordshire

Date Filmed: 28/03/2026 This quiet MCB+CCTV is situated not too far down the line from Stone Railway Station, where the Stone to Colwich line separates from the Stoke-on-Trent to Stafford line. This crossing is situated on Uttoxeter road. Only Avanti West Coast services are seen on this line, with occasional track machine movements, carrying Class 390 trains from Manchester to London Euston. I have visited this crossing many times, and it was one of the first crossings I ever spotted at, so this crossing, too, holds a place in my heart Timestamps: 0:00 Intro 0:08 Closure 1 2:17 Train 1 (390141) 2:39 Closure 2 4:50 Train 2 (390132) 5:39 Train 3 (390138)
