This collection is a heartfelt tribute to Mara van der Bergh, a long-standing and highly influential South African music booking agent, artist manager and live-event promoter who dedicated much of her life to the artists, music and the people that she loved. Deeply connected to South Africa’s vibrant country music community, Mara played an important role in the careers of many beloved performers, building lasting friendships and professional relationships along the way. Tragically, Mara passed away on Saturday, 5 September 2026, in a road accident near Mbombela. This special collection celebrates her life, her remarkable contribution to South African music, and the many artists whose lives and careers were touched by her friendship and support.
