"Vuma" is Cy Ndukwemnyama's debut single of the newly curated "Umgidvo" genre, which is a modernization of Swati traditional melodies with a touch of Afro and hiphop sounds. He is in the shoes of a Swati gentleman who is in love with a Swati girl and approaches her the Swati way, displaying immaculate eloquence as he pours his heart out with promises of marriage and fully paid bride's price, as the Swati culture demands. Along with him is Sancheziey (featured), the other half of Umgidvo pioneer, who also does exceptionally well in the context of hitting on a Swati girl with all the right things to say.
