Our celebration was also a beautiful coming together of Boro traditions from Assam and Bihari traditions from Bihar — two states, two cultures, two families and many traditions becoming part of one new beginning. There were happy tears, nervous smiles, endless dancing, heartfelt rituals, family moments and plenty of laughter along the way.
