Please read An in-depth listen to the voices of the Behringer DeepMind Analogue Polyphonic Synthesiser. I recommend using either headphones or studio monitors for the full range of audio and listening to each patch in full as they contain various notes, chords with modulation etc.
Originally recorded as part of an audio sample pack which I have available on eBay, (Link Below).
This video covers just the first half of the patches in the 1st Bank, (Bank A)
of the Deep Mind 6.
This flagship Behringer Synth has stunning voicings and polyphony, perfect deep and rich pads and lush arpeggios.
6 Vs 12:
"DeepMind 6 is a true analog 6-voice polyphonic synthesizer that shares most of the same bells and whistles of the larger DeepMind 12.
While it is a smaller synth, the 6’s full-size keys keep it player-friendly. Basically, a 6-voice version of its 12-voice big brother. The DM6 is also easy on the wallet, foregoing extra features such as Wi-Fi to achieve a very down-to-earth price point.
This series gives synth players a budget-friendly version of a pro-level synthesizer — in some cases costing just a third of the price of other synths with compatible features.
The iconic synthesizer tracks on your favorite progressive rock, pop, and jazz fusion records from the 1970s and '80s are forever inscribed in music history. With the DeepMind 12, Behringer set out to create an analog polysynth that can effortlessly deliver any classic synth sound you've ever heard — or imagined. Now there's a streamlined 6-voice, 37-key version — the DeepMind 6 — that shares its big sibling's architecture and sonic prowess. Incorporating two digitally controlled analog oscillators and two LFOs per voice, three envelopes, a noise generator, unison mode with a handy Detune fader, an extensive 8-bus modulation matrix, a 32-step sequencer, four digital FX engines, a silky aftertouch-enabled keybed, and more, the Behringer DeepMind 6 is a value-packed axe with serious synthesis firepower that will make you a musical force to be reckoned with.
The Curtis-style analog VCFs, stereo VCAs, and 12-voice architecture make it easy to re-create vintage synth magic or forge new sonic frontiers. Based on the chip design pioneered by the late Doug Curtis, the per-voice, adjustable-resonance, dual-slope-selectable 12/24dB VCFs sound incredible.
With its four effects engines, dual oscillators and LFOs per voice, three ADSR envelopes, 8-channel modulation matrix, onboard 32-step sequencer, and LCD display with encoder, navigation switches, and data slider, Behringer's DeepMind 6 gives you the control you need for your soundscaping adventures.
In the design of the DeepMind 6, Behringer spec'd four simultaneous effects engines with over 33 TC Electronic, Midas, and Klark Teknik algorithms. On tap and ready for deployment are studio-grade Reverb, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Delay, Multiband Distortion, and much more. Meticulously modeled on iconic hardware processors and tweaked to perfection, these effects run in DeepMind 6's low-latency operating system, giving you flexible routing and consistent performance, with no cables to patch.
It includes five impeccable reverb models — Hall, Ambient, Rich Plate, Room, and Rich Chamber — from the Lexicon 480L, a benchmark digital reverb unit. Thanks to Behringer's True Physical Modeling, these models nail the complete analog and digital circuit paths — even the unit's gain-stepping AD/DA converters, capturing every nuance precisely. Also onboard is Vintage Reverb, based on the fabled EMT250 plate, which serves up bright, shimmering ambience that won't overwhelm or muddy your tracks — highly recommended for vocals and snare drum!
