Mahindra Marshal - The Hard Top version of Commander Jeep 1997 Model

Mahindra Marshal was a type of Mahindra Commander. It was born out of the Commander 750DP Hardtop and was essentially a more premium, hard-top variant of the Commander platform designed to offer better comfort while retaining its rugged 4x4 capability, popular during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Commander 750 DP HT (Hard Top) was a rub off from the project Armada – basically a stripped down version of the Armada. The only major structural change was the raised roof to accommodate for larger head room for the rear passengers. Production – 1993 to ? Plant – Nashik Model – Commander 750 DP HT The rear seats were longitudinal and the Commander 750 DP HT had only 3 doors – 2 in front and one at the rear. The Commander 750 DP HT was fitted with – Peugeot XDP 4.90 2.1 lit diesel engine KMT90, 4-speed Gearbox T18, Spicer , 2-speed Transferbox (4WD) 105.5” Wheelbase 51” Wheel Track In 1996, the Commander 750 DP was upgraded to a 5-door version which had front facing seats in the middle row.
