Proxxon Micromot MB 200 Drill Stand Teardown, Rework and Reassembly

I bought myself a nice drill stand. Or so I thought. But I found it lacking … ↓↓↓ Complete description, time index and links below ↓↓↓ Lately I expressed my mixed feelings about the Proxxon MB 200 drill stand I bought (link below) for my Proxxon IBS/E professional drill/grinder (German “Industrie-BohrSchleifer” – hence IBS, basically a “Dremel”, link below). Though that combination makes nice holes, operating the drill stand feels like turning a rusty, worn out ball bearing. Of course I took it apart to see what’s wrong with it. In fact the video starts with all its parts already spilled out on the desk – my apologies. But I’ll show you every single step (and misstep) of putting it together again – something many teardown videos are missing. In between I rework the thing to the best of my abilities.
