We're making an LS Swap kit for the Discovery II ! Buy the conversion board here: https://goldenrovers.com/products/dis... In Part 6, we will get rid of the rover crankshaft position sensor and reluctor wheel we inherited from the ACE kit. Instead, we will generate our own fake (but correct) 58x CKP signal emulating a variable reluctance sensor. We will use a teensy microcontroller to drive the logic. This video is Part 6 of documenting the behind-the-scenes process of engineering a new swap kit. Be sure to leave comments, suggestions, and ideas. Now is the chance to shape what this kit will become. visit https://goldenrovers.com/ Correction: 42:00 The pink wire is NOT a good source of power. Instead, wire the board to its own clean fused power source in the fuse box.
