One Earth Music: "Uneri"

"Uneri" was composed by Kodo earlier this year. When I found out that Kodo was asking for people to submit videos, I realized that Uneri was the song I wanted to do! But I also found out the deadline for submission was in SIX DAYS from when I saw the request. Crap! So I memorized all three parts, recorded myself playing each one, then made this edit with a day to spare. It was a pretty intense thing to do! But I'm happy with how it came out, in the end. The song has three parts, a shimedaiko, chudaiko, and a miyadaiko part. I'm using the KaDon Timbre Taiko here with three different drum sounds, and have layered my audio on top of the original Kodo audio. The sticking is 100% the same except for about four notes of the chudaiko where I got too "into it", haha. It was a lot of fun to learn the entire song, but that was a bit more pressure than I'd ever like to experience again!
