Ravindra Kaushik: Pakistan Army Mein RAW Ka Agent Kaise Bana?

Ravindra Kaushik: Pakistan Army Mein RAW Ka Agent Kaise Bana? Description Learn the untold true story of Ravindra Kaushik, India’s legendary RAW undercover agent famously known as 'The Black Tiger.' Discover how a young theatre artist from Sri Ganganagar transformed into Nabi Ahmed Shakir, deeply penetrating the Pakistan military apparatus to protect countless Indian soldiers. In the mid-1970s, India’s Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) identified Ravindra Kaushik’s remarkable acting talent and cultural adaptability. After rigorous training in Urdu diction, local geography, and Islamic traditions, his original identity was erased. Operating under an airtight cover, Kaushik earned a law degree from Karachi University and successfully commissioned into the Pakistan Army as an officer. For years, he transmitted critical intelligence back to New Delhi, averting major strategic crises. However, in 1983, a single operational breakdown compromised his cover. Intercepted courier Inayat Masih yielded under interrogation, leading to Kaushik’s arrest in a Karachi park. What followed was nearly two decades of severe interrogation and imprisonment across Sialkot, Kot Lakhpat, and Mianwali prisons. Battling pulmonary tuberculosis and failing health, he managed to smuggle emotional letters home, grappling with the stark reality of state deniability. This documentary reconstructs the mission, covert identity, capture, and long-term geopolitical realities that defined the life of India’s most courageous intelligence asset.
