ATraditional Craft May Disappear in 10 Years | A Vanishing Vietnamese Heritage

For more than 100 years, traditional blacksmithing has been passed down through generations of my family, from an old village in Hue to Phan Thiet, Vietnam. My father is the third generation of the Truong family to carry on this craft. For more than 40 years, his hard work has supported our family of six and given my siblings and me the opportunity to pursue our education and build our own lives. But today, as my father grows older and his health becomes weaker, I worry that this traditional craft may disappear within the next ten years. Through this video, I hope to preserve precious moments of my father at work and share the story of a craft that is not only our family's livelihood but also a part of our cultural heritage.
