Dag opens in Psalm 5:7 - 'I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy' - then wrestles with a hard question: if God will by no means clear the guilty, why even pray for mercy? He answers with real courtroom logic: a 15-year sentence where a third is cut automatically, a 20-year sentence suspended entirely, and an elderly man who committed a crime decades earlier and spent just one day in prison before walking free. Then he tells of meeting a man who had actually murdered someone, was converted in prison by a visiting pastor, and became a pastor himself - now warning the men who married his daughters about his past. He closes with Ahab, whose judgment God postponed to the next generation because he humbled himself. The point: justice is real, but mercy always finds a way in.
