What amazed me about this performance wasn't that she sounded like an adult—she didn't. She still had a child's voice. But she used that voice with a level of maturity and technique that most adult singers never achieve. You could tell the fundamentals were already there. The phrasing, the control, the emotion—everything was in place. Her voice hadn't fully matured yet, but the artist was already there. Every time I hear Angelina Jordan sing, she amazes me, and this performance was no exception."
