Omachi onsen village is located right in the middle of the "salt road" that connects Nagano and Niigata. There is a lot of snow in winter. The inn is popular even in winter, despite the extreme cold, as it offers dishes and activities unique to the snow country. *The "Deep Countryside Experience by Irori (sunken hearth)" is a local favorite, and the inn has kindly given us permission to photograph it.
