The Entire Story Of Shanks To Fall Asleep To

This video tells the entire story of Shanks from One Piece. It starts with his years as a cabin boy on Gol D. Roger's ship and moves through his hidden God Valley origin, the arm he lost for Luffy and the scar left by Blackbeard. The story follows six clues in order and draws on the manga and the 1999 anime. It covers his childhood with Buggy, the late manga reveal of his twin brother Figarland Shamrock, and the Foosha Village sacrifice that started Luffy's journey. It also looks at his undrawn rivalry with Dracule Mihawk and the quiet strength of the Red Hair Pirates. What's covered in this video: In a flashback in episode 8, young Shanks and Buggy look over a Devil Fruit worth about 100 million berries, and Buggy swallows the Bara Bara no Mi by accident. Shanks dives into the sea to save Buggy from drowning, and later he stays behind at an inn to look after Buggy through a fever. Chapter 1158 reveals red-haired twins on God Valley, the sons of World Noble Figarland Garling and an islander whom Eiichiro Oda later named Magnolia in volume 114. In chapters 1160 and 1161, Garling kills Magnolia, Monkey D. Dragon runs with the infants, and Saint Maffey recovers only Shamrock while an unconscious Shanks goes unnoticed. A stray attack from Whitebeard lets Dragon escape, and in chapter 1166 the Roger Pirates find baby Shanks hidden in a treasure chest on the Oro Jackson. Shamrock grows up among the nobles and now commands the Knights of God sent to invade Elbaph. In episode 4, Shanks lets Higuma's insult go, Luffy eats the Gomu Gomu no Mi, and the Lord of the Coast bites off Shanks's left arm. Shanks lends Luffy his straw hat, a scene first told in the manga's Chapter One, "Romance Dawn," and animated again in episode 504. In episode 316, Shanks boards the Moby Dick and tells Whitebeard that his three scars came from Marshall D. Teach, a former crewmate. Blackbeard brings up the scar at Marineford in episode 489, and the fight that caused it has never been shown. Mihawk's duels with Shanks ended after the lost arm, have never been drawn, and are remembered by Whitebeard as echoing across the Grand Line. First mate Benn Beckman defeats Higuma's bandits using only a lit cigarette and the stock of his rifle. Mentioned in this video: Shanks, Buggy, Gol D.
