Yuna's party of guardians are told by what appears to be that unsent priest from before, that the Zanarkand Ruins Dome, Chamber Of The Fayth's Lord Zaon's statue, has lost It's power as a fayth. In fact, a very long time ago! The unsent suggests that they go seek out Lady Yunalesca as she will explain Yuna the path to receiving the final Aeon atop Zanarkand's Dome The Beyond. Tidus and the party reach Yunalesca and she congratulates Yuna for completing the pilgrimage for receiving the final Aeon. Yunalesca drops a bomb shell on Yuna. Yuna must choose one of her guardians to be sacrificed and become the final Aeon. After some deliberation, Yuna declines Yunalesca's offering. Yuna had realised that the final summoning is a false tradition that should be cast aside. Yunalesca threatened that Yuna will fight for sorrow instead of hope. Yunalesca decides to challenge and defeat Yuna's pilgrimage party one by one. Yunalesca morphs three times during the battle but Yuna's Grand Summoning of Bahamut and using It's Overdrive Mega Flare, Overkills Yunalesca. A top the Zanakand Ruins Dome The Beyond, Tidus recovers the Key Item Sun Crest from a chest and as he re-enters the Chamber Of The Fayth, Auron reveals that he is an unsent, in which is why, he was able to hitch a ride on Jecht (Sin) to Tidus's Zanarkand.
