Nampo police outpost officer SI Karan Marandi has been suspended over alleged negligence, while Jaleswar Police Station IIC Ashok Barik has been transferred. The SP has also ordered SI Marandi’s transfer to the district headquarters. The girl, who had gone missing after leaving for dance classes, was found dead in Gherapada forest under Bartana Panchayat. Her family alleged that police failed to register an FIR despite their complaint and later accused the perpetrators of rape and murder. The case has raised serious questions about the handling of the missing-person complaint. For latest news updates follow us on WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaYN...
