THE GODS BENEATH THE ICE | Dialogue-Free Nordic Sci-Fi Short Film | 10 Min | 4K

In the year 2891, the Arctic ice retreats for the first time in centuries. Explorer Sigrid follows a faint cyan pulse beneath a Scandinavian glacier and discovers a colossal ancient city sealed in the ice. Its monuments look like Norse gods, but the runes hide a technological containment system. At its center, a giant figure is not a statue — it is a living Guardian holding back something far more dangerous beneath the city. Sigrid must restore the final seal before the darkness escapes. She succeeds — but the final image suggests one fragment has already followed her out. THE GODS BENEATH THE ICE is a 10-minute, dialogue-free Nordic science-fantasy short film. No dialogue. No narration. No subtitles. The story is told entirely through images, performance, music, atmosphere, and sound design.
