Make your own Benjolin!

My challenge was to recreate Rob Hordijk’s Benjolin using separate modules that had been sitting around my house collecting dust. The O_c’s Runglbook app controls the oscillators and the filter. The comparator before the Rungler is an Intellijel Plog, a brilliant and rather rare module. It also triggers the envelope on the O_c, which modulates the filter frequency. The Rungler is stabilized into a repeating cycle that generates percussive, rhythmic textures, but the patch can emulate (almost all of) the full sonic palette of the Benjolin. The feedback drones are created using two different reverb tanks, either separately or combined. They’re also slightly modulated by the Runglbook. #benjolin #o_c #phazerville #intellijel #ericasynths
