Srila Prabhupada answering to GBC about Ritvik initiations

In this short recording from May 28, 1977, it is very clear what Srila Prabhupada really wanted regarding initiations of his disciples - They should become gurus on Srila Prabhupada's order and initiate their own disciples after Srila Prabhupada's departure from this world. Then on Jully 9, 1977 Srila Prabhupada through Tamala Krsna Gosvami sent a letter nominating 11 ritvik acharyas who can initiate on behalf of Srila Prabhupada and become initiating gurus: https://vedabase.io/en/library/letter... Initiated disciples by the 11 ritvik acharyas are considered to be Srila Prabhupada's disciples when Srila Prabhupada is still present physically in this world. After leaving of Srila Prabhupada from this world, the 11 ritviks can initiate their own disciples. Newly initiated disciples after Srila Prabhupada's departure are no longer disciples of Srila Prabhupada but disciples of one of the 11 ritvik acharyas.
