Northwestern State vs UL Monroe - Whole Game - 2-0 Loss - Aug 6, 2026

This was NSU's first scrimmage of the season and Kendall's first game of her sophomore year. This game seemed to be treated as a testing opportunity for the new players. The players each got limited playing time. UL Monroe scored their first earned goal in the last 5 minutes of the game. The goal came off of a questionable call which led to a free kick for ULM. It was a well placed shot in the back , upper 90 of the goal. NSU keeper got a hand on it but it wasn't enough to keep the ball out of the net. Just a minute later, an NSU pass-back to the goalie went horribly wrong ending in a second goal for ULM. Both teams played evenly in this match until the last 5 minutes. The game ended in a 0-2 loss for NSU. Next up is the first home game of the season against LSU-Eunice on 8/8/26.
