A Long Way to Davao | Will My Arm Be Better by Christmas

Today we're heading from Samal Island to Davao City — and there's some good news waiting for us! Our day starts with a walk along a quiet country road. There's no bao-bao or other transport around, so we enjoy the greenery, the sounds of nature, and a few conversations about everyday life on Samal. Eventually, a friendly tricycle driver gives us a ride, and we continue our journey by bus, ferry, and taxi, enjoying beautiful views along the way. In Davao, Siarhei has a follow-up appointment for his recovering arm. The doctor gives us encouraging news about his recovery, and we leave feeling relieved and happy. We also have another appointment to take care of — Natalie's troublesome tooth needs attention. It's another ordinary day in our life in the Philippines, with its little challenges, unexpected conversations, and moments worth remembering. Thanks for spending the day with us!
