Built in the style of a grand sandstone fort, Suryagarh blends royal Rajput architecture, warm Rajasthani hospitality, cultural experiences, and modern luxury in the middle of the Thar Desert. From the moment I arrived, the property felt less like a hotel and more like stepping into a different era. The grand courtyards, golden sandstone walls, traditional décor, folk music, and breathtaking desert views create an experience that is uniquely Jaisalmer. Walking through its narrow lanes felt like stepping into history, surrounded by centuries old homes, temples, artisan shops, and breathtaking views over the Golden City. From royal architecture and desert landscapes to living history and local culture, this trip captured the true essence of Jaisalmer.
