Macron condemns "unacceptable, stupid" comments from Trump, other world leaders amid France riots

French President Emmanuel Macron has condemned comments made by "foreign leaders" campaigning for election, following weeks of protests across France and parts of Europe.   Macron told reporters, "There was foreign manipulation of information afterwards, yes, and that gave rise to unacceptable and stupid comments from many people, including foreign leaders."   Macron suggested that U.S. President Donald Trump was one of these leaders, without naming him verbatim.   After demonstrations that took place in France over the weekend — protesting the cost of living, gas prices, and poor school conditions — Trump took to social media, blaming the violence in France on immigration.   At the White House on Tuesday, Trump commented on the violence, saying, "That wasn’t a little bit of a riot. That wasn’t a little bit of a protest. That was, that was a full on revolution."   Macron also rose concerns about the continued use of AI-generated content in election campaigns, saying "it's clear that certain groups want to spread misinformation about what happened in France. But they're campaigning at our expense." For more info, please go to https://globalnews.ca/news/12110841/f...
