The attempted arrest of Manhyia South MP and lawyer Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah at the Accra High Court has triggered a major debate over EOCO’s methods, parliamentary procedure and the powers of state investigative agencies. A February 27 invitation to Baffour Awuah was signed by Archer and asked the MP, in his capacity as senior partner of his law firm, to assist EOCO with an investigation.
