Crewtah 2026 - Moab MTB Trip - Day 4: Raptor Route
For our final ride in Moab, we decided to head to the Sand Flats Recreation Area to check out some of the Raptor Route. This is often done either as a point-to-point shuttle or as an alternate finish to The Whole Enchilada, but we decided to make it a loop by climbing up from the bottom.
We took the Falcon Flow Climb Trail and Sand Flats Road up for the climb. After three days of riding, we were only expecting to make it up to the top of Falcon Flow, but we ended up climbing up to Hawk's Glide. The only part of the Raptor Route we didn't do here was Eagle Eye, which begins further up Sand Flats Road.
All three legs of our descent were excellent. Hawk's Glide is pure chunk. Falcon Flow and Kestrel run both offer some natural up-and-down flow but not without a good bit of Moab tech.
Highly recommend this ride. It would be a great first day in Moab if you're an experienced rider looking to get a taste of the terrain.
