This lesson is on the killer tune Banish Misfortune and one that's great for the stage and repertoire. It has three parts and each one is played twice. The time signature in this tune is 6/8 and really gives it that Jig type drive. Make sure you accent the first beat when you count as I demonstrate in the lesson.
The first part shouldn't give you too much of a problem. The second part tends to go between major and mixolydian or the C# and C notes in the key of D. The third section has a motif going on and sounds almost ethereal. Make sure you pay close attention to the string skip and you'll be off to the races! I hope you enjoy this lesson and get a lot out of it.
