Europa: Norway Apr II - Jun I 1940 End [WW2 Battle 6 (2-Player)] Storm Over Scandinavia

This after-action report is the outcome of the Storm Over Scandinavia - Campaign for Norway. Battle 6 of our playthrough of World War Two battles in Europe with my friend, using the Europa game series. This one in particular is GR/D Europa: Storm Over Scandinavia, "Campaign for Norway" scenario. April I through May II turns in 1940, however we are playing with Daniel T. Shaw's naval rules instead of the limited original Europa naval rules. This meant to us that it makes the most sense to start with the March II 2-week turn as naval forces would be leaving ports for their objectives previous to the historic April I German port assaults and Allied landings turn. The naval battle has been fierce after German ground troops land in Narvik, Trondheim, Bergen, Stavanger, and Kristiansand along the Norwegian coast. Simultaneously, the battle with Denmark only lasted about six to nine hours before Denmark capitulated to Germany and was no longer an immediate threat against them; allowing them to continued their offensive against Norway as part of Operation Weserübung. GRD Europa - Storm Over Scandinavia is considered an 'upgraded' release of the earlier Narvik game, but also includes some additional scenarios that cover alternate possible outcomes (such as the Allied forces landing in Norway first), playing a combined northern campaign using A Winter War and Storm Over Scandinavia, and a very short Denmark invasion.
