c5 corvette vats bypass

I had bcm code B2723 with a no start issue, I figured out You can bypass the vats system through the bcm module instead is removing the console and panels.The purple/white wire and white/black wire bridged together with the correct ohms resistor depending on the ohms resistor pellet on your key, the resistor can be 10%-+ I used a 7.5k resistor I bought at Frys for 3.99 for a 100pk. I did not want to buy and install another ignition switch since they are known to fail.
