Homemade frozen dinners for seniors living alone — twelve single-serve trays you make once and eat on the evenings when nothing else is going to happen. Each one replaces a frozen dinner you already know, and each comes with how to freeze it and how to bring it back. This is not about the tray being bad. It is about opening the freezer door and finding something you actually chose.
Use small foil trays or dishes marked freezer-to-oven safe. A plastic meal-prep container does not belong in an oven.
