Nina Malika - Ahwak - Oriental Love Festival 2025.

Hi, everyone! Long time no see! I'm back, with my @orientallovefestival story! ❤️ ✨Months before the festival, I've had an idea to find and cut some mejance for my performance at the competition. It wasn't easy, tbh. Just 3 weeks before the festival, out of nowhere, I've had an condition called "vertigo", which kept me in bed. That prevented me from going to Thessaloniki, for the festival where I originally wanted to dance to "Ahwak". ‼️Recovery was longer than I expected and my mental health was a bit damaged because of the thoughts my brain started creating. Imagine it, waiting for this festival for 6 long years, preparing with the troupe since July and now I was in bed! Even a though of not being able to do it was killing me! 🤯Luckily, I was able to do the general rehearsal with Leila and troupe! THANKS GOD! 💃That's when I've decided not to perform at the folk category, I needed to save myself for the Gala Show and I've decided to improvise to "Ahwak". It wasn't meant to be this time and mejance and saidi will wait for the next one. ✨I have to say that I'm very happy and proud of myself because I actually did it! Without any hesitation. That is my favorite stage, my favorite festival and deserves my respect by dancing. And for me, competition is performance where you get the chance to show up and dance, the best you can at the moment. To be present and enjoy the experience. I wasn't able to prepare, but I was able to express. And that's exactly what I needed. ☺️Things sometimes aren't going as we wanted, but are always as we needed. 🧿Always use the chance to dance on stage, because it's precious and helps you evolve. Always. 🥰I've danced. I've enjoyed. I've expressed. As a dancer, artist, person, woman and soul. I'm beyond proud, grateful, thankful and happy. ❤️Thanks everyone who approached me after to express their feelings and thoughts about my performance! Thank you for seeing me!
