The process involves several stages, each crucial for the patient's safety and successful surgery. Firstly, the medical staff verifies the patient's details and medical history, ensuring all necessary pre-operative tests are completed. Once cleared, the patient is transferred to the operating theatre (OT), a sterile environment where the surgery will take place. In the OT, the anesthesia team prepares the patient for surgery, administering the necessary medications and monitoring vital signs throughout the procedure.
