BRANCH LINE CONNECTION

A 3ft 6 inches extension to the layout afforded the addition of a small branch line terminus ; which is very small in O gauge ! The video shows the single coach train hauled by a Caley 439 tank departing Auchterturra and arriving at Auchindoir Road the junction with the main line . The train offloads its passengers and reverses to a loop on the main line and runs round its train ; then propels its train back into the ststion to await a connecting main line arrival .A train from the North arrives hauled by a black five . When the main line train departs the Branch train runs back to Auchterturra bunker first and runs round its coach by gravity shunting viz. a viz . Banff ; Killin ; Peterhead trains used to do ! Finally an express is seen thundering by with an A3 Pacific hauling blood and custard Gresley stock .Its all in a bit of of fun !.
