Seiser Alm to Rosengarten DAY 4

The important thing to note on this hike is you can skip going all the way back to Rifugio Sasso Piatto and can head straight down into the valley like we did. It will save you a decent point of time and I don’t think you miss out on anything. We stopped at Malga Micheluzzi for lunch which was great but it does not open for full lunch menu until noon. They do have sandwiches and drinks you can get before that. We ended up just taking a long break and waiting for lunch. The ascent up to the next hut Rifugio Antermoia is fairly difficult as there is a good deal of elevation. There are signs not to go into the water just FYI. As for Rifugio Antermoia it was probably our least favorite hut as we were in a dorm style room which was fine just not as nice as the private rooms. There was showers on each floor though. The part I found the worst was there was no potable water so you had to buy water by the liter. The dinner was good but the breakfast was fairly basic. Again everything was fine and I have no real complaints just not as nice as the other huts.
