How To Wait On God Without Wasting The Season

Welcome back to The Last Days Series. How do you wait on God without wasting the season you are in? That is the question we are answering in this episode. We talk about the Awaiting Bride and what it actually means to wait well. Because waiting is not passive. It is not sitting still and doing nothing until God moves. The Bible presents waiting as one of the most active, intentional and costly postures a believer can take. We look at James 5 and the farmer who waits for the precious fruit of the earth. He does not chase the rain. He tills the ground. He works the field. And he trusts the timing that is not his to control. We look at the parable of the minas in Luke 19. The nobleman said occupy till I come. He did not say sit till I come. He did not say rest till I come. He said occupy. Stewardship is part of waiting. We also look at what delay reveals. Because the waiting season has a way of showing us exactly who we are when nobody is watching. Are we preparing or are we just passing time? Are we alert or have we grown comfortable?
