"Speak of the North / Fall leaves fall" – Brontë | Guiem Soldevila, Fosquets Lithica 2026

The s'Hostal quarries in Ciutadella (Menorca) hosted the concert that kicked off the sixth edition of the Fosquets Lithica festival on July 2nd. Menorcan musician Guiem Soldevila opened this new season with the live presentation of "Brontë," his concept album dedicated to sisters Charlotte, Emily, and Anne Brontë. The project sets thirteen poems by the British authors to music, preserving their original language, and pays tribute to three of the most influential writers in universal literature. On stage, the performance blends music, narration, and dance to immerse the audience in the atmosphere of the Yorkshire moors.This video features "Speak of the North," one of the tracks from the album, performed live at the quarry.
