Making a Silicone Baby Doll - TARRA - Part 2: mother mould, seam and removing sculpt

My name is Carolyn Doughty and I am sculptor and Doll Artist at Dreams Reborn. This series of videos will be showing me making baby Tarra - from a clay sculpt, into a silicone baby. • Part One in the series shows you how I make a silicone glove mould from the clay sculpt. • Part Two shows you how I make a shell mother mould, cut a seam, and remove the clay sculpt. • Part Three shows you how I pour a silicone baby using the mould • Part Four shows you how I pull the baby from the mould and fix any seams or imperfections ready for painting. • Part Five and Six - which I haven't yet recorded so will follow on later, will show you how I paint the baby, matt her and then root her using a fine needle and mohair.
